While I could not find a picture of the Pike County Jail, this photo of the old Meriwether County Jail in Greenville, a county adjoining Coweta, may give you an idea of how easy it would be to make an escape. The photo was accessed from Wikimedia Commons. The jail is on the National Register of Historic Places.
