After more rain during the night, Chief Askew had about enough of it. “Everything is thoroughly wet now and we need some warm sunshine instead of rain,” he wrote. Alas, a hard rain fell early that evening, accompanied by a hard wind.

The Junior Chamber of Commerce in Newnan was hosting a community dance that night, specifically a ‘round dance.’ We’ve all heard of a square dance, but a round dance? Read on to learn about it!
