Chief Askew’s “Boys” finished delivering the street tax summons this afternoon, which turned into a fair day after a night and morning of rain. In Washington, former President and former Chief Justice William Howard Taft was laid to rest in Arlington Cemetery. Coincidentally, another justice, Edward Terry Sanford, had died unexpectedly the same day as Taft did, opening up a second spot on the Supreme Court.
