Chief Askew was still writing about the weather today. The Newnan Herald was published and with it the ad giving the week’s movie offerings at The Alamo theater. They included Fay Wray and William Powell in Pointed Heels and what was destined to become a comedy classic, The Cocoanuts, starring the Marx Brothers. Or as the ad spelled it, the Marks Brothers.
