Last weekend, I had the pleasure of enjoying a cocktail at a most unusual bar in historic Belmont, North Carolina. The Jailhouse occupies the abandoned city jail, circa 1969, having turned a fairly grim institution into a cozy place to enjoy a drink and/or a cigar.
