Dew on the roses...and a jailbreak!

Mr. Lanham left home for the Lanham & Sons store in downtown Rome, Georgia today, observing that the dew on his roses was “lovely” and the grass sown in the back yard was starting to sprout. There was a heavy storm in the afternoon and the lights went out “three or four times.”
