A new coffee shop opened in Rome today next to the Third Avenue Hotel, shown in this circa 1923 postcard from Stormywiz Postcards. It’s hard to make out Mr. Lanham’s handwriting, but it appears to be called the Davol Coffee Shop. He dropped by for the opening following his volleyball game at the Y.
