He finally begins decorating the store for Christmas

Well, better late than never. Mr. Lanham finally started decorating Lanham & Sons for Christmas and writing an advertising circular. He began “trimming” one window, with a backdrop scene created by a Mr. Colgate.

Meanwhile, his father “continues to improve and insists on being at the store.” No doubt Papa Lanham was heavily involved in supervision!
