Mr. Lanham was today consumed with the Kiwanis Club’s Ladies Night, held at the Armstrong Hotel, followed by a concert of a Welsh men’s glee club at the city auditorium.

He and Anne attended the dinner, bringing along daughter Julia Anne, who was “as sweet as can be,” and her father described the concert as “fine.”
