It was a clear and cold Sunday in Rome. The week of Sunday School teaching sessions had obviously had an impact. Mr. Lanham reported 289 people attended Sunday School that morning. He pruned the roses at his mother’s house and carried the cuttings to a friend. “Julia Anne went to sleep in my lap tonight,” he concluded.
