Mr. Lanham was up early this morning, getting his wife and daughter to the train station. Their train headed to Americus, Georgia was supposed to leave at 5:55, but arrived an hour late. I hope they were able to nap on the train!

He went back home and in his garden he cut a few roses for the store. He wrote a long paragraph about the Duchess of Luxembour…
