Mr. Lanham rode to Cedartown with some fellow Kiwanians for a luncheon “in the big Cole, with the curtains up, without an overcoat.” Apparently his father had not gotten back from Atlanta with his coat. The Cole Auto Company produced cars like the one pictured here from 1903 until 1925, when it went out of business.
