He's keeping up with college football

College football was not nearly the juggernaut in Mr. Lanham’s time as it is today, but it definitely had a following. He noted in his short diary entry today that Georgia had defeated Auburn 19 to 6 and Vanderbilt had defeated Georgia Tech 13 to 7. He must have listened to the games on the radio.
