He spends a night in Chattanooga
Mr. Lanham spent the night in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and got up early enough to see a bit of the city when he headed out of his hotel for breakfast. “[Chattanooga] has several fine buildings, and seems to be growing,” he wrote. “New hotel just completed — Read House.”
