Mr. Lanham was up early this morning to dust a few plants and water his verbenas. He then went to his mother’s house and was pleased to find Red Radiance, Star of Holland and Cecille Brunner roses in bloom — “the first of the real hybrid teas.” He was concerned to find blackspot on one of the bushes, however.
