A Taft rose, an afternoon swim, an inspiring Kiwanis talk, and a play

Mr. Lanham began a busy day by cutting a “lovely” President Taft rose from his garden. I couldn’t find a picture of the rose, but I hope it was a large one, in order to pay true homage to the president it was named for.
