Anne makes ice cream

Julia Anne’s fever was gone when she woke up this morning; in fact, it was “subnormal,” Mr. Lanham wrote, so her parents kept her in bed for another day.

Papa Lanham made a trip to Atlanta and was met at the train depot by his son at 7:10 p.m. He brought him home for some ice cream Anne had made.
