The Kiwanis Club of Rome met a day late this week to accommodate a visit from the district governor, Judge Harry D. Reed of Waycross, and the district lieutenant governor. “Both made good talks,” Mr. Lanham wrote, adding that there was also musical entertainment from a sisters group.
