There was good business at Lanham & Sons today, driven by the convening of a session of federal court in Rome and the absence of the rain that had kept people away on Saturday. Julia Anne had a play date with a friend, Martha Rae Kelly, in the afternoon, and Mr. Lanham picked her up and brought her home on his way to his volleyball game at the YMCA.
