The family heads to Atlanta for Thanksgiving

The Lanhams drove through heavy rain today in Atlanta in a “closed car” belonging to a Mr. Williamson. (Apparently he needed it delivered there.) They stayed at the Henry Grady Hotel, which had just been completed in 1924. Afterward, the rain having cleared, they walked around the city some, and then his wife and daughter turned in to bed.
