He revels in the fall weather; voters show displeasure with Prohibition
“A crisp, delightful morning, and it was a real pleasure to walk to town,” Mr. Lanham wrote. “Fine, crisp and bracing all day. Collected some, so was out quite a bit and enjoyed it. Business fairly good, and we are getting our obligations down.”
