Mr. Lanham joined other “music lovers” in Rome selling tickets to the concert series and he spent most of the morning canvassing with a committee of ladies. (He mentioned that one of these “is a beauty by the way.” That’s the second time in the past few days he has remarked on a woman’s pulchritude.) “We sold lots of tickets,” he reported.
