A relaxing Sunday, with more news from the hurricane
Mr. Lanham and his father had returned from Atlanta at nine the night before, experiencing no more car trouble along the road. Anne was not feeling well, so he and Julia Anne went to Sunday school together and then he brought her home. He returned to church to hear the preaching, “and then we all ate dinner at the Davol [cafe’].”
