The Culps went to the shipyard in Tampa to see the SS Cuba, a steamship that was in drydock. The Cuba and its sister ship, the Florida, operated between Tampa, Key West and Havana. Here's a postcard of the ship found on eBay. You’ll be hearing more about this ship later, when the Culps climb aboard it for a vacation trip.
