Mrs. Culp spent the morning packing and by 2:30 she was ready for a break. She had a cup of coffee at Walgreen’s and did a little shopping at J.C. Penney’s on Franklin Street, where she ran into their contractor, Mr. Cooper. She also shopped at the Kress dimestore.
