Mrs. Culp started two sweet potatoes to grow and brought some hyacinths and other plants to their rental house at 317 S. Edison Street. She wrote a letter to her son Frank and her sister Trude, who lived in Atlanta. She also visited a friend, Mrs. Johansen, and got some books at the Tampa Public Library. It was a clear day in Tampa and "very warm."
