Quiet in Tampa, but not in Nuremberg

It was a quiet day in Mrs. Culp’s world. Her diary contained only a sentence stating that son William and daughter-in-law Jackie came over after supper for a visit.

In the Culps’ native Germany, however, September 10 was the day of a mass rally on the grounds of the zeppelin field in Nuremberg, Germany, September 10, 1937.
