The Culps went to the Franklin Theatre today and saw two movies, Marry the Girl, a romantic comedy set at a newspaper (only 68 minutes long, imagine!), and Slave Ship, a serious historical drama set in 1860, which featured actors Wallace Beery and a young Mickey Rooney.
