Sister Else fell on the edge of her bathtub at the Bay View Hotel, "hurting under her breast." Mrs. Culp gave her an Epsom salt treatment, presumably soaking in the offending bathtub. Epsom salt was in everyone's first aid cabinet (and is today espoused by actress and health guru Gwyneth Paltrow) for treatment of sprains, muscle aches and bruises. Here'…
