Note: Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Culp were the resident managers of the Bay View Hotel in downtown Tampa in 1937. German immigrants, they had come to America in 1903 and moved to Tampa from Atlanta in the 1920s. These entries come from a page-a-day diary Mrs. Culp kept in 1937.
