The SS Cuba stopped in Key West at about 9 a.m. and the Culps took a short sight-seeing trip in an “old car ($1.50).” She wasn’t impressed. These wasn’t much to see, she wrote, except enormous turtles that were raised there. “It’s an old and dinky-looking place, every house needs paint badly.” They bought some postcards to mail but couldn’t find anywher…
