“Moved into our home, 317 S. Edison Ave.,” Mrs. Culp wrote. She dickered around with the tax office today and got an “exception” on the taxes, saving $36 to $40. (Anybody have an idea how that could have happened?) However, she had to pay for a new assessment, which cost $12.50. Still, she came out ahead.
