Mrs. Culp did a little shopping today in her neighborhood and waited in vain for a card from her son Frank.

Meanwhile, President Roosevelt and his fishing companions wound up their cruise through the Florida Keys with an expedition to Fort Jefferson, by then a National Historic Monument. (It became a National Park in 1992.)
