Jackie’s father had his eighth treatment with the quack, Dr. Urbuteit. Mrs. Culp did her marketing and took a walk after supper with Walter. They paid the workers at their house on Edison Street. “William, Jackie, and Wallace went to the beach mostly to charge up their battery,” she wrote.
