The dining room closes and Mrs. Culp starts cooking again
“Bought groceries, meat etc. have to start making suppers again, today will be last supper in the dining room,” Mrs. Culp wrote. It was apparently a gloomy thought, because she repeated at the end of this entry, “The last supper downstairs.” We can assume that as the Culps planned to hand over management of the hotel to a new team they were phasing out…
