"Washed my hair," Mrs. Culp wrote, and underlined it for emphasis. Since we don't know what she looks like, we don't know why this was such a big deal. Maybe it was very long? Anyway, the Culps tried to see a movie at the Park Theatre but it was so crowded they "went home and stayed there." Here is a cute 1930s Valentine with a movie theme. Look closely…
