Lots of gift-swapping, but no church-going on Easter
It was Easter Sunday. "Walter gave me two pairs of stockings, a beach cap and Easter egg with 'Ole Neumann' on it," Mrs. Culp wrote. (Neumann was the spelling of her maiden name in Germany.)
