Mrs. Culp served up a “nice dinner” of boneless birds, potatoes, sweet candied yams, asparagus and pudding with wine sauce for Walter, sister Else, son William and grandson Wallace. (The latter had come over to get some wood and stayed for dinner.) Else left for St. Pete on the bus and the Culps went to the Garden Theatre to see the Shirley Temple movie
