Mr. and Mrs. Abraham came to lunch. Mrs. Culp prepared herring, potatoes, stuffed celery, coffee and fruitcake. Perhaps the celery was grown in Sanford in central Florida, the self-proclaimed “Celery City.” This vintage postcard copied off ebay shows workers there at harvest.
