Yard work occupies Mrs. Culp

The Culps’ handyman, Doc, finished up at 217 S. Edison Avenue today. “Thank God,” Mrs. Culp wrote. “He worked here since July 8.” She and Walter got to work in the yard, setting some plants in the front yard. Walter made a trellis for vines to climb. She found some steel chairs she liked at the Sloane Furniture Company, $7.50 for two.
