Going-away gifts from the Cruz family
The Cruz family departed for Miami, and they shared parting gifts with Mrs. Culp. “Mrs. Cruz gave me two pretty luncheon cloths and Mrs. de Castro a bottle of perfume, ‘My Sin.’” Her parting gifts to them included a set of nesting boxes, each holding Florida souvenirs, to be opened when they arrived in Havana.
