Mrs. Gunn went downtown to shop today and had lunch with Marian Chace, a renowned dance instructor. “She is a fine teacher but, oh, she keeps herself personally so untidy,” she wrote.

Untidy or not, it turns out that Marian Chace was not just a fine teacher, but a leader in the dance therapy movement. Paid subscribers can read on about this remarkable and compassionate woman.
