Spring break for Albright College began at 12:30 today. Unfortunately, Professor Hamilton missed his 11 a.m. class because of a delay at the doctor’s office, where Mary Elizabeth was having her ears dressed and underwent a treatment with “violet rays.”

Remember that Professor Hamilton had damaged his car during the winter months while trying to park it in the garage? Today he took it to a body shop in West Reading and was to pick it up on Friday.

“In evening I tried to do some work, but the children required much attention,” he wrote. “Mary Eliz. felt very good today, showed a lot of life, but walks with much hesitation.” I imagine her equilibrium was damaged by all the ear problems.
