“Father, Mother & Marion (& dog) left early (before breakfast),” Professor Hamilton wrote today. He did not add “whoopee!” but it was implied. Then he and Margaret cleaned what he described as “my room.” I believe this is his study, because he mentions it several times in the days ahead.
