On a quiet Sunday, the Hamiltons attended services at Bronxville Reformed Church then “stayed at home practically all day.” Ever industrious, Professor Hamilton typed an article on “the religious situation in Mexico” for a magazine. He seems to have had a keen interest in that country’s culture.

The postcard above, offered on eBay, shows the cathedral and national palace on the main plaza in Mexico City.

We are approaching the last episodes of The President’s Birthday Ball Affair, Book 2 of the Missy LeHand Mystery Series that I write with Kelly Durham. If you are interested in other books in the series, click here to purchase in Kindle or paperback form on amazon.com. You can start out with Shirley Temple is Missing for just 99 cents as a Kindle book.
