Professor Hamilton had an upset stomach today — “probably due to something I had eaten” — and laid low into the evening. Paid subscribers can read on about this epic novel and the impact it made among Depression readers and audiences.

This first-edition of the book is being offered by the rare book dealer Yesterday’s Muse Books.
