After the usual schedule of morning and evening classes, Professor Hamilton and his wife went to Hagen’s Music House, where recitals were being given by students of Hans Nix of the Reading Conservatory of Music. Margaret took part in the ensemble performance. Afterward, they treated themselves to ice cream before returning home.

The five-second film below, titled “Fred Ott’s Sneeze,” was made in 1894 by Thomas Edision. It was the first motion picture to be copyrighted, though it is now in the public domain and accessed through Wikimedia Commons.
