Professor Hamilton did some more typing in the morning and then ventured over to the Albright College campus. He caught up on some of the news with faculty members he saw: Dr. and Mrs. Cook had a new baby boy and Dr. Stutzman was teaching German. At home he found a letter and two cards from his wife Margaret and wrote her a long letter in reply. Other than that he worked on his thesis into the night.

The first part of The President’s Birthday Ball Affair begins with a prologue set in Mexico, but the serialization of Book 2 in the Missy LeHand Mystery series is only for paid subscribers. It’s a great time to sign up for just $5 a month, which you can do by clicking below.

Baptists, Bootleggers, and Everything in Between is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.
