It was cooler today in Reading and Professor Hamilton “slept in” a bit. He continued typing his thesis, taking a break for lunch. In the evening he did some more yard work, wrote a note to his wife and settled in to read Walter Millis’s book The Road to War, 1914-1917. It had been published on January 1.

This first edition of the book is being offered by Rare Book Cellar.

Paid subscribers can read on in Book 2 of the Missy LeHand Mystery Series, The President’s Birthday Ball Affair. Click below to upgrade. You can catch up on what you missed in my archive.
