Professor Hamilton's Diary: July 3, 1935
He orders coal for the winter; Part 3 of 'The President's Birthday Ball Affair'
Professor Hamilton wrote two cryptic remarks today. “Work on thesis. Went downtown & ordered coal.” While no one was thinking much of heating a house during the sultry summer, coal prices were lower then and Professor Hamilton was obviously planning ahead.
